For as long as I can remember I have been traveling all around the world. I received my first flight ticket at three months old (not that I remember, but I still have it), and have been moving around ever since.
In my younger years it was mostly because my parents kept moving around and I couldn’t do much but follow along. Holidays and family gatherings in Denmark and Norway were also a large part of it. All of a sudden though, adult life came along and gave me something called a job, which resulted in even more travelling!
My travels have brought me to places across the world: Canada (duh), U.S.A., France, Germany, England, China, Oman, Singapore, Malaysia and Italy just to name a few.
I am in no way saying that I am some kind of travelling guru, but I have made many observations and learned many things that I wish I would have known before venturing out into the world, thus the reason for this series.
Hopefully I can share my experiences with others, and give some hints and tips on travelling, such as what to remember, where to go if you need help, what to pack, cultural differences and other things I might remember along the way. I will also try to differentiate between traveling for work and traveling for leasure. All things I wished somebody told me when I started.
So stay tuned for my next update where I will tackle the topic of what to pack when going on a trip!
