Makeup Inspiration with My June Ipsy Bag

First off, I really liked this month’s bag 💗 but second, this will be my last bag from my subscription.

In total, I subscribed for 3 months and I decided to end the subscription because I think it was a bit expensive for what I am getting. Since I live in Canada, the bag comes up to $20 and also it arrives in my mail way too late in the month while they are shipping out from the province beside mine. I would get my parcels within 3 days when parcels get shipped out from Ontario.

I noticed that my bag is a bit different from the website and some people on the net. Most people got the pink bag but mine is bright yellow ☀️.

The products that I got & some of my experience:

  • Pacifica eyeshadow palette in Tomboy Vibe shadows – Although the packaging is a bit cheap, the shadows are pigmented and I like how they have a mix of shimmer and satin shadows. This was the one that inspired the looks! Although, I wish there was a light shade that can be used as a highlight when doing the eyes due to the fact that most of the shades are pretty dark. ⭐️Pacifica Tomboy Vibe eyeshadow palette
  • Jersey Shore Cosmetics, Moisture Rich Hydrating Balm in Juicy strawberry – I like to put this on before bed. The next day, my lips feel super plump and the scent is really delicious. It smells like the strawberry Lipsmackers.🍓🍭
  • MAC’s Prep + Prime
  • Nomad Stockholm’s Luminated Highlighting Powder in Midnight Sun – it gives a nice glow ✨
  • Cake’s Desserted Island Supreme Body Mousse

The Makeup Look

When I got the Pacifica palette, the matcha green along with the warm brick shades gave me the beach vibe. Even if there was only 1 shade of green, it can create multiple eye looks. That green that seemed to be a muted colour can still be a great pop of colour. I just really like the shades combination of the palette. If you are not the kind of person who is not very comfortable to wear bright colours but still want a pop, these are great colour options.

Look #1: Green in the inner top lid with the last brick colour as transition and outer corner.

Look #2: The brick shade on the top lid with the petal pink shimmer shade on the inner top lid. Used the green in the bottom inner corner for a pop of colour.

To darken the eye look, such as the lower lash line and the outer corner, I used my Too Faced Peach palette’s “Peach Tart” & “Chocolate Dipped”.

Let me know which look you like best!
